For businesses & wealth managers

Bespoke collections. A clear purpose.

Scotch whisky collections for businesses, distinctive settings and the clients you serve.

Businesses

A collection with a clear purpose.

We help businesses build bespoke Scotch whisky collections for ownership, distinctive displays and considered client hospitality. Each collection is shaped around its intended purpose, budget and setting, with specialist support for selection, sourcing, documentation and care.

A business may wish to hold a collection for its collectable interest, create a talking point in its premises, or select exceptional bottles to share with specific clients. A Scottish connection can inspire a theme, but it is not a requirement.

Business collections

A carefully researched collection with a clear acquisition strategy, a record of the provenance information available for each bottle and a plan for ongoing stewardship.

Distinctive displays

Collections for receptions, boardrooms, offices and showrooms, with themes and stories that give each bottle context.

Client hospitality

Bottles selected for opening and sharing, with a clear distinction between those intended to be enjoyed and those retained for collecting or display.

Wealth managers & family offices

Specialist expertise for your clients.

For clients interested in Scotch whisky collecting, we provide the specialist research, collection strategy and sourcing support that sit alongside your existing advisory relationship.

Whether a client is beginning a collection, refining bottles they already own or considering a collection to pass on, we develop a bespoke brief around their interests, ambitions, budget and intended timescale.

  • A personal discovery conversation and assessment of any existing collection.
  • A written strategy with collecting themes, selection criteria and acquisition priorities.
  • Documented bottle recommendations, supporting evidence and any reservations.
  • Sourcing support, collection records and practical stewardship guidance.
  • Optional annual reviews, with a separately agreed scope and fee.

We agree how to work with you and your client from the outset, including the scope of our role and how recommendations are shared. Clients approve, purchase and own their bottles directly.

Our role is collection research and advice. Financial planning, tax, legal and insurance advice remain with the client’s appropriately qualified advisers.

Hospitality & retail

The collection behind the display.

For hotels, restaurants and luxury retailers, a thoughtfully curated Scotch whisky collection can bring character, interest and a sense of discovery to the setting.

We develop the collection’s theme, select and research the bottles, review the provenance and condition information available, and prepare the stories and documentation that help guests understand what they are seeing.

We can work alongside your interior designer or display specialist. They deliver the cabinetry, lighting and installation; we advise on the collection and the preservation requirements that should inform its display.

Where bottles will also be opened and served, we establish that purpose separately within the brief so the selection reflects both the display and the guest experience.

Working together

A clear brief. A tailored engagement.

Our initial consultation is complimentary and gives both sides an opportunity to establish whether we are the right fit. We then set out the work, deliverables and fees in a written proposal before you decide whether to proceed.

Business and wealth manager engagements are quoted individually, reflecting the scale, value and complexity of the collection and the support required. Many begin with a written collection strategy, followed, where wanted, by an ongoing advisory relationship. We consider the full collecting budget, including advisory fees, purchases, auction premiums, delivery, storage and insurance. All fees are agreed before work begins.

Our advisory fees are fixed for each agreed engagement or annual period and are never a commission on purchases. We have no stock to promote, receive no commission from bottle sellers or auction houses, and neither pay nor receive referral fees. The purchasing client or business contracts with and pays sellers directly; we do not hold client money or bottles.
